We went to Carowinds Saturday and had a blast, but so did a few thousand other people.  Very busy.

The only thing that would have made church any better last night was if Jesus would have returned! It is exciting to see the awesome things God is and will do in our lives if we just seek after Him and show Him how hungry we are for more of him and for all He has for us. It just keeps getting better and deeper and deeper and better.  Heard some great testimonies already!

Praise God, what a great God we serve.  Yesterday we learned from the Word that we don't have to worry!  We are to cast ALL of our cares upon Jesus, because He cares for us.

You did it!  Our Youth, our little kids and even our men, you blew away those gathered at the Pinnacle Apartments Easter Outreach with your skits and dramas.  I know God was smiling today and so proud of all of you for sharing Jesus with all those people and kids.  They know the true meaning of Easter and they know the true meaning of a church that reaches out and cares about those outside of their own four walls.  Everybody - men, women and children soaked up everything today like sponges.  THANK YOU to everyone for their hard work.  Thanks to our 2 Jim's for the Hotdogs and preparation. Thanks to all for all the candy.  Thanks to our teens for all their hard work these past few weeks and for hiding ALL THOSE EGGS!  Thanks to Jorge for making the Spaghetti Dinners for the families that we got to deliver.  Jesus said, "I was hungry and you fed me." We were all on the Mission Field today!  We as Pastors are so proud!

Our Youth ROCK!  They are going to blow the people away tomorrow at the Easter Outreach with their skits and dramas.  We are so proud of you guys.  You are what it means to be "SOULed OUT".  And our little guys in the GOD SQUAD - you are going to shine brighter than the sun.  We love you guys.  Can't wait for the Holy Spirit to use all of us tomorrow.

I don't know about you but I can sense the Lord drawing us to seek Him with all of our hearts and find His unspeakable treasures that He has hidden, not from us but for us!

Thursday night was another powerful time of worship and seeking God! The Lord is drawing us into closer fellowship with Him and let us not resist. He is Indescribable!  Congratulations to Bryant and Joanna on their exciting baby news!  God is so good.

WHAT A SERVICE TODAY!!! I love it when the Holy Spirit just comes in and wrecks the place. We declare that "This is the Lord's Generation".

"SOULed OUT" Youth Night was a blast! We have an awesome bunch of youth that God is going to use mightily. What a night. From learning we need more than head knowledge, we need heart knowledge to the 3 Little Pigs and deciding what kind of foundation we are building on to all out war in snowball fights and "basketball", the night was packed full of great stuff! Joanna, you ARE a winner. The paper said so. Thanks goes out to our 2 "Chefs", Jim and John. Dinner was yummy! And a special Thank You to Ms. Carolyn Wynn for the delicious apple pie tarts.

What a great Marriage Conference we just had! It was awesome to come together with our spouses and learn from other couples and encourage each other. Pastor gave us new insight into barriers that block intimacy in marriage. The foot washing was so precious and heart touching and really connected each couple fresh and new. Our love letters from long ago reminded us of that "First Love" feeling again. Jim and Beth, you rocked the Truly Wed Game! We need a rematch. The food was DELICIOUS too! We are excited about next years Conference already. Now it's time to look ahead and start planning for the Easter Outreach and VBS is on the way!

Our God is an awesome God and He is doing wonderful things @ VLM!
